Michael F Moore

Michael F. Moore is a translator from Italian. His most recent translations include the 19th-century historical novel, The Betrothed, by Alessandro Manzoni, The Drowned and the Saved, by Primo Levi, as well as contemporary writers such as Sandro Veronesi and Mario Desiati. In 2024 he was awarded the Thorton Wilder Prize for Translation from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He is currently working on a complete edition of Alberto Moravia’s 61 Racconti romani.
