Miles Scharff

Miles Scharff is a sound artist and researcher working among kinetic sculpture, radio electronics, electromagnetics, and spatial audio. His work appropriates industrial aesthetics to present and distill anomalous electromagnetic phenomena as objects, motion, sound, and image in an effort to probe our relationship to ambiguity and experiential truths.

His work has been exhibited at LUmkA (NYC, London), Hyperobjects (Rome), Santi Gallery (London), Sheerly Touch-Ya Warehouse (NYC), Fridman Gallery (NYC), New Uncanny (NYC), and The Children's of Pittsburgh, among others. He is actively working with Barnard College's Programming Languages Lab and Carnegie Mellon University's Spatial Experiences Lab.
