Congratulations to all graduates of Columbia University School of the Arts. Below are a few announcements regarding the Commencement ceremonies in May. The first is the University-wide Commencement Ceremony at 10:30 am on Low Plaza. The second is the School of the Arts Convocation at 2:00 pm in Miller Theatre. Both ceremonies are on Wednesday, May 22.

Tickets for the University-Wide Commencement

 

All graduating students must register online to participate in the University-Wide Commencement. Information on reserving tickets will be emailed directly to students the week of March 25, 2019. Due to the number of graduates and space constraints, students will be limited to 2 tickets.

 

 

Tickets for the School of the Arts Convocation

 

All graduating students must register online to participate in the School of the Arts Convocation. Graduates are allowed up to five (5) guest tickets: two (2) for seating in Miller Theatre and three (3) additional guest tickets for overflow seating in Dodge Hall (Room TBA), where the ceremony will be streamed live. Information on reserving tickets will be emailed directly to students the week of March 25, 2019. Graduates must RSVP via the ticketing form to reserve their own seat for the ceremony as well.

 

 

Cap and Gown Distribution

 

Academic regalia (cap and gown) for all master's degree candidates will be available for purchase through the Columbia University Bookstore. No pre-ordering is necessary; simply go to the bookstore in Lerner Hall anytime beginning in late March. Regalia may be purchased up to the day of Commencement.
