Scott Shooman

Scott Shooman is Head of IFC Entertainment Group, encompassing Independent Film Company (IFC), Shudder, Sundance Now, and the IFC Center. In this role, he leads acquisitions, distribution, production, and development across the group’s distinct brands and has shepherded an acclaimed slate of films including Blackberry, Clown in a Cornfield, Good Boy, Late Night with the Devil, Memoir of a Snail, Over Your Dead Body, The Taste of Things, The Ugly Stepsister, and When Evil Lurks

Prior to IFC Entertainment Group, Shooman held roles at Sony Pictures and CBS Films, where he oversaw the acquisition/production of films including Hell or High Water, The Woman in Black, Inside Llewyn Davis, The Squid and the Whale, The Raid, and Insidious. Shooman is based in New York.
