Regan Mies is a writer and translator based in New York. She currently teaches undergraduate creative writing at Columbia University, where she received her MFA in Fiction and served as Director of Columbia Artist/Teachers. She also works with Words Without Borders as their 26-27 Editorial Fellow and is a jury advisor with cross-cultural organization New Books in German. Previously, she taught in Hamburg with the support of a Fulbright grant, worked in the editorial department at Abrams Books, and received a BA in political science and German, also from Columbia.
