Sophie Frances Kemp is a writer from Schenectady New York, based in Brooklyn. Her forthcoming debut novel, Paradise Logic, will be published with Simon & Schuster in the US and Scribner in the UK in 2025. She has written or has work forthcoming in The Paris Review, New York Magazine, GQ, and The Baffler. She is a graduate of Columbia's MFA in fiction, where she was a De Alba Fellow.
