Nina Cochran
Nina Cochran is a film producer based in New York City. She holds a BA in Art History from Williams College and an MFA in Film/Creative Producing from Columbia University School of the Arts. Prior to producing, Nina worked in the book industry and as a photographer. She started her career in film from the camera department, on the sets of movies such as The King of Staten Island (dir. Judd Apatow) starring Pete Davidson and Marisa Tomei, and Marry Me (dir. Kat Coiro) starring Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson.
While at Columbia, Nina received a number of awards including the Arthur B. Krim Memorial Award and the 3Pas Studios Excellence in Producing Award, and she was selected to be a 2023-2024 Marcie Bloom fellow. Her thesis film Dad Swap, a doc-narrative hybrid comedy, was recognized by Columbia University Film Festival (CUFF) with a Student Selects recognition and an Audience Award, and was selected to play at top industry showcases including the CAA Moebius Film Festival and the WME FutureFest Showcase. After Columbia, Nina worked for a writer/showrunner on award-winning television programs produced by Amazon and the BBC.
Nina has produced short films, music videos, and a microbudget feature film, with various projects currently in development including book-to-film adaptations in collaboration with the authors. She currently works at award-winning documentary film company Jigsaw Productions in New York City.
