Andie Carver (b. North Carolina) makes paintings of natural worlds in order to record her immersion within them. Her paintings hold the mark of her response to the world as she reaches towards the mystery of animal perception. She received her MFA in Visual Arts at Columbia University and her BA in Studio Art from College of Charleston. She is a recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant.
