Dennard Dayle

Dennard Dayle is the author of the novel How to Dodge a Cannonball (Holt, 2025), and the collection Everything Abridged (Abrams, 2022). Fancy critics like them, and his sister bought two copies.

He's also a weekly columnist at 1900HOTDOG, the last comedy website. There, he writes about the American brain melting. Our era of sanity and stability has starved him of material, and he hopes something interesting happens soon.

Dennard also contributes regular humor pieces to The New Yorker, which seems like an oversight. Someone should fix that.

Alongside his writing, Dennard regularly produces satirical stunts and fake signage. He should stop before the NYPD makes its opinion known. Again.
