Porter Fox

Porter Fox is the founding editor of the literary travel writing journal, Nowhere. His new book Category 5 (Little Brown), about climate change and extreme weather, will be published in September, 2024. His book The Last Winter (Little Brown) about the world of melting snow and ice was released in 2022. Northland (WW Norton), a book about traversing the U.S.-Canada border, was released in 2018. His fiction, essays and nonfiction have been published in The New York Times Magazine, The Believer, The New Yorker, Time, Outside, The Virginia Quarterly Review and Best American Travel Writing.
