Leonard Schwartz is the author of numerous books of poetry and essay, including The New Babel: Towards a Poetics of the Mid-East Crises (University of Arkansas Press) and Salamander: A Bestiary (Chax Press). One of Schwartz's most recent collection of poetry is entitled Heavy Sublimation (2018), from Talisman House; the three books that constitute the ACTUALITIES series are available from Goats & Compasses. He edited and co-translated Benjamin Fondane's Cinepoems and Others for New York Review Books: Poets. His most recent book, a collaboration with artist Heide Hatry, is called Flacofolio.
