Jordana Spiro

As a director and screenwriter, Jordana’s debut feature film Night Comes On premiered at the Sundance Film Festival (winner of the Sundance Innovator Award), and at the Deauville American Film Festival (winner Jury Prize.) The film screened at more than a dozen international festivals and was named a must-watch and a "best movie to watch on Amazon Prime" by The New York Times.

Jordana is a fellow of the Sundance Institute’s Directors Lab and Screenwriters Lab. Her first short film, Skin, which she wrote and directed, premiered at Sundance (nominated for Audience Award, winner Honorable Mention at SXSW, screened at Telluride and other festivals.)

She earned her MFA in Directing from Columbia University and was selected for the Film at Lincoln Center Artist Academy. In addition to her work behind the camera, Jordana has an extensive acting career, with credits including Savant (Apple TV+), Ozark (Netflix, SAG Award–nominated ensemble), To the Stars (Sundance), and Fear Street (Netflix). Her work on comedy series My Boys earned a Gracie Allen Award.

Jordana is a dual citizen of the United States and Germany and serves as an Adjunct Professor at NYU and Columbia University.
