Emma Ramadan is an educator and a literary translator of over 40 books from French. She has been awarded the PEN Translation Prize, the Albertine Prize, two NEA Fellowships, and a Fulbright. Her translations include Anne Garréta's Sphinx, Marguerite Duras's The Easy Life, Abdellah Taïa's Living in Your Light, and Lamia Ziadé's My Port of Beirut.
