Ryan Murphy

Ryan Murphy is the Owner of the Production Management firm Sightline Productions. Current and recent projects for SLP include Broadway productions of Paddington The Musical, Death of a Salesman (Tony Award), Liberation (Pulitzer Prize/Tony Award), Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Mamma Mia!, Gypsy, A Wonderful World, Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club; the Off-Broadway productions of The Conversation, The Gorgeous Nothings, The Grief Eater, The Vagina Monologues, A Walk on the Moon, and More; as well as the National tours of Ragtime, Spamalot, and Hadestown. 

Past projects include over 70 national and international tours, thirty Broadway productions and multiple regional premiers. Other past work includes the NHL Return to Play through the Covid-19 pandemic and a host of other events and industrials. He is a past Vice President for both RWS Entertainment Group and Aurora Productions as well as the former Production Manager for Troika Productions. 

Ryan holds an MA from the University of Rochester and both a BFA and a BA from Niagara University. He teaches at Columbia University, has been a previous guest lecturer at several institutions, an active participant in panel discussions for USITT, SeaTrade and has spent time working on projects for Broadway Dreams and Broadway for Biden/Harris. 

His work also includes consultation for the Broadway League and various theaters across the United States.
