Rafi Silver

Rafi Silver is a professional actor, writer, and certified Mindfulness Meditation instructor. For Columbia University, he teaches The Mindful Actor and The Professional Approach, where he integrates mindfulness meditation and mindfulness-based tools into an actor's approach to their craft. Rafi is also a co-teacher of the Professional Practice class in the Spring. In addition to Columbia University, Rafi has taught courses at NYU's MFA Graduate Acting Program and Syracuse University's Tepper Semester. Rafi owns and operates Peak Mind Performance, where he privately trains professional actors and athletes using mindfulness-based performance coaching. Clients include professional actors across the U.S. and Europe, an upcoming 2025 Masters CrossFit Games competitor, and NCAA Division 1 athletes based all over the country.

As an actor, Rafi is recurring in Amazon’s hit new series Fallout, playing Mr. House. Other Film/ TV credits include recurring roles in Law and Order: Organized Crime, Manifest, Shameless, American Dad, NCIS, NCIS LA, and Scandal, as well as episodes of Evil, Happy Endings, We Bare Bears, Ben and Kate, Fringe, Elementary, and Madam Secretary. His theatre credits include The Effect at Studio Theatre DC, where he was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for Best Lead Actor, Masked (DR2), Cry of the Reed (Huntington Theatre), Manipulation (Cherry Lane), and Carrie (PS122). Rafi holds an MFA from NYU's Graduate Acting Program and a BFA from Syracuse University's Acting Program. Rafi is a certified Mindfulness Meditation Instructor through Dharma Moon and the US Tibet House and a graduate of George Mumford's Mindful Athlete training course.
