Lisa Milinazzo

Lisa Milinazzo (Director/Playwright, Theatre, Film): With three decades directing in New York, LA and the UK, her work has garnered several Best Director nominations including the Barbara Whitman, Alan Schneider, LA Weekly and First Irish Awards. Lisa directed films for 3D Hamlet (a cinematic/theatre hybrid) featuring Alec Baldwin, Michael Emerson, and Richard Easton (Irish Arts; Edinburgh). Her short film The Query, played at Cannes & Garden State Film Festivals. She directed a documentary on renowned Economist, Leo Hindery.

Lisa has directed Theatrical Premieres for such writers as Eve Ensler, Rebecca Lenkiewicz, and George F. Walker in New York, LA and the UK at such theatres as Connelly Theatre (featuring Marin Ireland), 59E59th Street, The Culture Project, Rattlestick Theatre, Irish Repertory Theatre, The Cell, Origin Theatre Company, 54 Below, Capital Repertory, HB Playwright’s Foundation (with Amy Wright), Alice’s 4th Floor and HERE. She is a frequent guest director for the Rep Company of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Writing credits: “Rocco & Vincent” (screenplay); “The Query” (Screenplay); “Slain in the Spirit” (Theatrical script); The Black Monk (Theatrical). She acted and directed with The Actors’ Space Repertory Company where she assisted the late, Alan Langdon, artistic director.
