Will Rhem Jr

Will Rhem Jr. is a dancer, choreographer, actor, writer, and movement educator whose work bridges performance, storytelling, and embodied practice. He is currently performing in the ensemble of the national tour of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and previously served as Swing and Movement Captain on Broadway in the same production.

Will is the author of the poetry collection Abandoned Gardens Still Grow, a work rooted in themes of healing, identity, and growth that continues to inform his interdisciplinary creative practice. His performance credits include Broadway’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Broadway Celebrates Juneteenth (featured poet), Endless SHOCK! (Japan), Grounded Aerial Dance Theatre, PHILADANCO! (The Philadelphia Dance Company), and television and music video appearances with Janet Jackson, The Jonas Brothers, J. Balvin, and The Last O.G. (TBS), among others.

As an educator, Will is a certified ballet instructor through the American Ballet Theatre and a certified aerial bungee instructor. He has held leadership and teaching roles including Assistant Director of Dance and ARTSCAPE Summer Camp Director at the Harlem School of the Arts, teaching artist with NYC Kids Fest, and Resident Choreographer with the Beaufort Dance Company. His teaching emphasizes musicality, body awareness, artistry, and the integration of movement with narrative and intention.

Will is the founder and creative director of THE WRD CREATIVE LLC, an interdisciplinary creative business housing his work across performance, writing, education, and visual storytelling. Through THE WRD: Outreach, a program within THE WRD CREATIVE, he provides arts education residencies and movement-based programming in New York City public schools, centering access, embodiment, and creative confidence for young artists.
