Calvin Kim is a visual artist working in painting, drawing, and poetry. He works through imagination and memory to conjure familiar and ambiguous moments of softness, stillness, and vulnerability to explore themes of distance, longing, and transformation. Kim holds a Visual Arts MFA from Columbia University and a joint BFA and BA in Psychology from Cornell University.
