The Walker Arts Center announced that Theatre Management and Producing alumna Seena Hodges ’13 has been elected as the president of their board of trustees.

Theatre Management and Producing alumna Sunshine Lampitoc Smith '08 and Dramaturgy alumna Annie Jin Wang '20 participated in the creation of a devised production called Rooted: Stories of Belonging Inspired by Asian Elders.

Theatre alumnus Anthony McDonald ’13 has been named the Executive Director of the Shubert Theatre, effective March 15, 2021.

A Strange Loop by Michael R. Jackson and produced by Theatre Management and Producing alumna Barbara Whitman ’05 won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama last week. 

The 2019 BroadwayWorld Los Angeles Awards were announced, awarding Comfort Women: A New Musical by Producing & Theatre Management student Dimo Kim three awards. 

Caborca, an alumni based theatre company, celebrated 10 years with a bilingual performance of Javier Antonio González's Zoetrope at the 2nd International Pueblos-Escena Festival in Camagüey and Ciego de Ávila, Cuba.
