Theatre Management and Producing alumnus Ryan Bogner ’15 is the lead producer on The Cottage, which will premiere on Broadway this summer.

Theatre Management & Producing student Talia Escobedo has been awarded a Cody Renard Richard Scholarship. The scholarship, founded by Adjunct Assistant Professor Cody Renard Richard, seeks to uplift and support the next generation of theatre leaders of color.

Baby Jessica’s Well-Made Play, written by Dramaturgy alumnus Philip Santos Schaffer ’18, is currently running at Pipeline Theatre Company. Dramaturgy alumna and Theatre staff member Anna Woodruff ’18 serves as the dramaturg for the production, and both Schaffer and Theatre Management & Producing alumna Natalie Gershtein ’15 are co-directors of Pipeline Theatre Company.

Alumnus Charles Browning ’06 will be taking over the role of Avery in the Broadway production of August Wilson’s The Piano Lesson beginning January 17. 

Little Amal, a giant puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee girl who has thus far traveled over 9,000 kilometers through 12 countries, has made her way to NYC to explore the five boroughs.

Kelvin Dinkins Jr. ’14 has been named the Executive Director of the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University. He will become the first Black executive director in the theater’s 42-year history, and brings with him a vast wealth of knowledge from his position as General Manager at the Yale Repertory Theater in New Haven, Connectitect. 

Broadway League recently announced that they have elected 13 new members to the Board of Governors. Among the newly elected members is Theatre Management and Producing alumna Christina Selby ’14. 

Theatre Management and Producing alumnus Sean Anthony Chia '21 has recently been named Director of Marketing for the New York Theatre Barn.

Theatre Management and Producing alumnus Ryan Bogner ’15 will produce the Broadway adaptation of The Kite Runner, premiering this summer at Hayes Theatre.

Theatre Management and Producing alumnus Aaron Simms ’15 is the producer of Mendelssohn on the Hudson, a self-guided historical and musical walking tour of the German Jewish Washington Heights.
