Alumna Christina Selby ’14 Elected to the Broadway League’s Board of Governors

Broadway League recently announced that they have elected 13 new members to the Board of Governors. Among the newly elected members is Theatre Management and Producing alumna Christina Selby ’14. This brings the total number of board members to 56. 

The elections took place at the League’s annual meeting last Tuesday. Each member of the board serves a two-year term and is eligible for re-election in 2023. 

The Broadway League is the national trade association for the Broadway industry. Its 700-plus members include theatre owners, operators, producers, presenters, and general managers in North American cities, as well as suppliers of goods and services to the commercial theatre industry. Each year, League members bring Broadway to more than 30 million people in New York and more than 200 cities across the U.S. and Canada.

Christina Selby is the Vice President of Production and Touring at Nederlander Producing Company of America. Her role is two-fold and includes booking tours and staff oversight in over 35 Nederlander markets across the country and also developmental work and investor relations on shows Nederlander produces and in which it invests. She serves on various committees of The Broadway League and as a mentor for the NYU Tisch Drama Women’s Mentorship Program. Over the past decade, she has held numerous positions throughout the Broadway industry including Associate General Manager at Charlotte Wilcox Company, Labor Relations at The Broadway League, Accounting and Company Operations at Jujamcyn, and positions at Roundabout Theatre Company and various Broadway general management offices. She is a graduate of Brown University and of Columbia University’s Theatre Management and Producing MFA Program.
