Sounds Art students Yixuan Shao and Avishag Cohen Rodrigues collaborate on Visual Arts Mentor Michael Joo’s a Sensory Meridian in Chicago, Illinois.

Kamari Carter ’19 and Julian Day '20 collaborated on the piece “BLISSVILLE” that is now being shown in a dark space group exhibition titled Edge of Light.

Assistant Professor Aliza Nisenbaum’s paintings will be exhibited at Tate Liverpool in conjunction with a virtual event.

Mentor David Humphrey is in a solo exhibition of new paintings, Arms of the Law, which takes the police as its principle subject. This will be Humphrey’s fifth solo exhibition at Fredericks & Freiser.

School of the Art’s Visual Art’s Manager of Academic Administration Laura Mosquera is in the solo exhibition All the Way Through at The Yard: City Hall Park in New York, NY.

Uncovering the Heritage Silhouette is a bi-weekly series diving into how tradition influences the creation of art.

Adjunct Assistant Professor Alex Strada ’16 and Tali Keren ’16 continued their lecture-performance series, Fictive Witness, with a presentation from interdisciplinary scholar Noliwe Rooks called Accounting for Integration. Strada is an artist and educator based in New York City.

Planting Fields Foundation recently hosted its first ever “slide slam” between Visual Arts Mentor Mark Dion and Alumnus David Brooks ’09 as part of their The Great Bird Blind Debate Exhibition.

Alumna Patrice Renee Washington ’14 is in the group exhibition Barring Freedom at the San José Museum of Art.

Alumna Klara Hobza '05 featured in international exhibitions In Aller Munde and Alles Im Wunderland in Germany and Animaloculomat in Switzerland.
