Alumnus Chris Vola '10 has published a work of nonfiction, I is for Illuminati, with Morrow Gift through HarperCollins. 

Alumna Francesca Giacco ’16 recently sold her debut novel, Six Days in Rome, to Karen Kosztolnyik at Grand Central Publishing at auction. The novel is scheduled for publication in summer 2022. 

Alumnus Daniel Penny '16, along with contemporary art advisor Daniel Malarkey, has launched the monthly podcast Art Unscene. 

Sprinting Through No Man's Land, a debut narrative nonfiction book by alumnus Adin Dobkin ’20, will be published by Little A in 2021. 

Recently The Sewanee Review announced the winners of its annual contest, awarding the prize in Fiction to alumna Becky Shirley '19.

James Cañón was born and raised in Colombia. His debut novel, Tales from the Town of Widows & Chronicles from the Land of Men, has been translated into eleven languages, published in over twenty countries, and was made into a film. It was also selected as one of the “Ten Best Books of the Year” by the American School Library Journal. James has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Prix du Premier Meilleur Roman Étranger, and the Prix des Lecteurs de Vincennes. Alumnus Grant Bergland '15 was recently awarded the Excellence in Filmmaking Award at the 2020 Anthem Film Festival for his short narrative film, Metrics

Tiny Nightmares, a collection of horror-themed flash fiction stories co-edited by Adjunct Assistant Professor and Alumnus Lincoln Michel '07, was released by Catapult on October 13, 2020. 

Alumna Amy Feltman '16 has signed a deal for her second novel, All the Things We Don't Talk About, with Grand Central Publishing. The book is set to release in 2022. 

On Thursday, The Center for Fiction announced the winners of their 2020 NYC Emerging Writer Fellowship, among them alumnae Raluca Albu '18 and Sasha von Oldershausen '19.

Last week, the Poetry Society of America announced that alumnus Nathan Xavier Osorio '16 won a 2020 30 & Under Chapbook Fellowship. 

Poetry Alumna Elizabeth Metzger ’15 pays tribute to former undergraduate writing student, 2020 Nobel Prize recipient, Louise Glück through a meditation on her poetry of transformation and the power of reading it in a global pandemic.
