Mina Khan '22 is a Korean-Pakistani American poet from New York, currently based in Chicago. Her work spans across nations, generations, to discuss the role of the woman, cyclicality, violence, tenderness, and the everyday. She was awarded an honorary mention by the American Academy of Poets and authored the chapbook, MON-monuments, monarchs & monster. She has been featured or is forthcoming in Passengers Journal, Pigeon Pages, Epiphany, Asian American Writers Workshop's, The Margins, and more.

Mitchell Glazier '20 is a poet from West Virginia. He holds an MFA in poetry from Columbia University, where he was a teaching fellow. His poetry has appeared in River Styx, Washington Square Review, Annulet, Tupelo Quarterly, and elsewhere. He is a staff reader for American Chordata and lives in New York City, where he manages a creative writing program for high school students at Columbia's School of the Arts.

Julia Burgdorff's '22 poems have appeared in SAND Journal and Recliner Magazine, as well as the tenth Plume Poetry anthology. She currently works as the Program Assistant for Columbia University's Graduate Writing Program, where she earned an MFA. She is working on her first book, a collection of poems entitled January.

What is Columbia Selects? Columbia Selects is an alumni reading series hosted by the Columbia MFA Writing Program. In recent years, many of our featured writers have achieved critical and commercial success. This is your chance to glimpse who you'll be reading in 2025!
