Alumnae Priscilla Aleman ‘19 and A Young Yu ‘19 are both featured in a new exhibit at SoMad.

Visual Arts Mentor Valerie Hammond is featured in two group shows this fall.

Professor Rirkrit Tiravanija is featured in five exhibits around the world this fall.

Alumna Gina Werfel ’79 is featured in the solo show In Context at the Prince Street Gallery. This show is on view from September 7 through October 2, 2021. 

Alumna Raphaela Melsohn ’21 is featured in the group show Bolhas Siderais at the Marli Matsumoto gallery in São Paolo, Brazil. This show is on view from August 21 through October 9, 2021. 

Alumnus of the Undergraduate Visual Arts Program Oscar yi Hou (CC ’21) is featured in the solo show A sky-licker relation at James Fuentes Gallery. A sky-licker relation is the artist’s first in-person solo show following an exhibition of his works on paper at JamesFuentes.Online earlier this year.

Alumna Alison Elizabeth Taylor ’05 is featured in the solo show Future Promises at the James Cohan gallery. Future Promises is the artist’s sixth show with James Cohan.

The Alumni Spotlight is a place to hear from the School of the Arts alumni community about their journeys as artists and creators.

Gathering Together is the latest solo show by artist, alumna, and Assistant Professor Adama Delphine Fawundu ’18. 

Alumna Bat Ami Rivlin '19 is featured in two exhibitions—Untitled (inflatable house, zip ties, blower) at A.I.R. Gallery in Brooklyn until September 5, 2021, and Excess and Surplus at Sharp Projects Gallery in Copenhagen until September 10, 2021.

Visual Arts Mentor David Humphrey is featured in a new solo exhibition at Pamela Salisbury Gallery. Works on Paper is Humphrey's second solo exhibition at Pamela Salisbury and will be available for viewing until August 29, 2021. 

The New York Foundation for the Arts recently announced the recipients of the NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship Program, a coveted award that has been administered annually for 36 years with support from the New York State Council on the Arts.
