Current nonfiction student Wally Suphap recently placed first in the Fish Short Memoir Prize for his story, "Thirteen Ways of Interrogating An Incident."

Flexible Press will publish the debut novel Ready, Set, Oh by Alumnus Diane Josefowicz '08 on May 3, 2022. The book is available for pre-order on the publisher's site.

Writing alumnus Francisco González '19 was recently awarded an O. Henry Prize for his short story "Clean Teen." González's story will be published in The Best Short Stories 2022: The O. Henry Prize Winners by Anchor Books on September 13, 2022. The anthology is now available for pre-order.

Poetry alumna Antoinette Cooper '20 and Theatre alumna C. Quintana '13 were recently awarded 2022 Winter Literature Grants from The Café Royal Cultural Foundation NYC to support their current projects.

Current Fiction student Jemimah Wei and Poetry student Madeleine Cravens have been awarded coveted Wallace Stegner Fellowships at Stanford University.

The Windfall (Crown, 2017) by Assistant Professor Diksha Basu '14 was recently chosen by comedian and actress Lilly Singh as her April book club read. The Windfall was Basu's debut novel and is available for purchase here.

Knopf Doubleday recently published The Swimmers by Julie Otsuka '94. The book is now available for purchase.
