De Lo Mio, a film written and directed by Adjunct Assistant Professor Diana Peralta, has been officially added to the Criterion Channel and is now available to stream.

Two sisters raised in New York journey to the Dominican Republic to reconnect with their estranged brother and clear out their grandparents' old home. Rita (Sasha Merci) and Carolina (Darlene Demorizi) navigate laughter, confrontations, and their own personal challenges as they grapple with severing the last link to their homeland.

De Lo Mio had its world premiere as the closing night film of BAMcinemaFest in 2019 and was picked up for distribution by HBO in 2020. The film was awarded Best Narrative Feature at IndieMemphis Film Festival and Best Film at River Run International Film Festival. Last year, Peralta was chosen as one of the five inaugural fellows for the Ojalá Ignition Lab.

Since 1984, the Criterion Collection has been dedicated to publishing important classic and contemporary films from around the world in editions that offer the highest technical quality and award-winning, original supplements.
