Acting alumnus David Fierro '11 best known for his role in The Knick will be a series regular in the new CBS drama Tommy. The series stars Eddie Falco who plays a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female Chief of Police for Los Angeles. Fierro will play Buddy the brilliant, manipulative, Los Angeles mayor, who turns into Falco’s rival for power.
Fierro booked his first series-regular role on Cinema’s hit series The Knick as a recent graduate of the Columbia University MFA Program. He recently had a recurring role on Netflix series Maniac and Amazon’s Red Oaks. On the feature side, Fierro appeared in Birdman and Live by Night and next he will be seen in What Is Life Worth.
