Directing alum Rory McGregor ’17 has joined the newest revival of Glengarry Glen Ross as Associate Director. The iconic, Pulitzer-Award-winning play follows a cast of salesmen over two frenetic days as they battle and scheme to make sales.
McGregor will be working with director Patrick Marber on the production. "In 1983, I saw the original production of Glengarry Glen Ross in London. I was just 19,” Marber said in an earlier statement. “The play blew my young soul away.” Forty years later, the play is no less relevant.
The ensemble cast, all men, is essential to the play’s commentary on toxic masculinity in the workplace. Liev Schreiber and Joe Mantegna have won Tony Awards for their performances of Richard Roma, the maverick and liar leading the office in sales. Kieran Culkin, fresh off his Best Supporting Actor Oscar win for A Real Pain, will reprise the role.
Glengarry Glen Ross will run at the Palace Theatre from March 10 through June 14, 2025. This is the fourth time the play has come to Broadway.
