Film alumnus Jacob Jaffke ’10 is a producer on MaXXXine, an American slasher film written and directed by Ti West. This film marks another collaboration between Jaffke and West and is the third installment in West's X film series.

MaXXXine tells the story of adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx (Mia Goth) in 1980s Hollywood, when she finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.

Hollywood Reporter praised the movie, especially Mia Goth’s magnetic presence and West’s screenplay. “In the space of just two years, the actress and her director have cooked up a highly entertaining slasher trilogy that nods back to the past while striding forward into the meta future, deliciously skewering the pursuit of fame and the lure of desire with a subversive take on female objectification and an outpouring of love for the craft of moviemaking.” Rolling Stone also commended Goth’s great performance, calling her the “21st century's queen of screams.”

Jacob Jaffke is the producer of numerous Ti West films including A24's first original franchise; X (2022), and Pearl (2022) all starring Mia Goth. In all he's produced eight films for A24 with credits including Kristopher Borgli's Dream Scenario starring Nicolas Cage (2023), Trey Edward Shults’ Waves (2019), The Safdie Brothers' Uncut Gems (2019), Halina Reijn's Bodies, Bodies, Bodies (2022), Lila Neugebauer's drama Causeway (2022) starring Jennifer Lawrence and Brian Tyree Henry. Prior to his work with Ti and A24, Jacob prioritized producing original films for auteur filmmakers such as Jonathan van Tulleken '10, Mike Birbiglia, Whit Stillman, Xan Cassavetes, and Carter Smith. These collaborations earned him a 2014 Independent Spirit Awards' Piaget Producers Award nomination and a 2010 BAFTA "Best Short Film” Nomination for van Tulleken's Off Season.
