The new action-packed thriller-comedy Caught Stealing opened in theaters on August 29, 2025. The film was associate produced by Emmy Award nominee and Film alum Justin Gonçalves '22

This hotly anticipated Labor Day Weekend-release showcased an impressive slate of talents. Austin Butler took on the starring role of the film. Joining him on screen were Regina King, Zoë Kravitz, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D’Onofrio, and many others.

Caught Stealing is based on the novel of the same title by Charlie Huston. Huston himself adapted the film for the screen to positive responses from critics. The film was directed by Darren Aronofsky, who stands atop an impressive resume including films such as Requiem for a DreamThe Wrestler, and Black Swan. This is not the first time that Gonçalves has worked alongside this director. Gonçalves worked as the assistant to Aronofsky while he directed his most recent success story, The Whale, in 2022.

Caught Stealing is currently running in theaters.
