Queer Latinx Poetry & Translation Showcase with Leo Boix, Diana Bellessi & friends at Ledbury Poetry Festival | Celebrate the Poetry Translation Centre’s 20th birthday with a multilingual evening of queer Latinx poetry and translation! With a star-studded line-up, we’ll explore queer Latinx poetics, the inherent queerness of translation, and hear these Argentine poets speak to the contemporary moment. This showcase is inspired by the PTC’s Queer Digital Residency for emerging translators, and the PTC’s English PEN Award-winning collection To Love A Woman by Diana Bellessi, translated by Leo Boix in 2022. Diana Bellessi, Paula Galindez and Osvaldo Bossi will join us live from Buenos Aires, while Leo Boix and Jon Herring speak from Burgage Hall. Hybrid (In-Person and Virtual).
