Sherry Wang
Sherry Wang (she/her) is a first-year Stage Management student at Columbia’s Theatre MFA program. Originally from Shanghai, China, she relocated to NYC in 2024 to explore new opportunities and immerse herself in the vibrant world of theatre. Her stage management experience spans both in and outside the U.S., with credits including Real Good For Free, Awakening, Better Days, Be Seen, and various other productions. Before her passion for theatre drove her to Columbia’s stage management program, she worked as a financial analyst in Shanghai, spending every moment outside of work in backstages and rehearsal rooms. She also holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and an M.S. in Financial Analysis from London Business School.
