Nash Cohen Glynn

The Student Spotlight series aims to highlight the work of current MFA students, asking them to share thoughts on their practice by answering curated and peer-submitted questions. Nash Cohen Glynn is a second-year student in the Visual Arts Program.

What themes or subjects are you currently addressing in your work?

Nature, Female, Human.

What materials do you work with?

Body, body, body.

What is challenging your practice right now?

Rationalizing the value of a fossil fueled metaphor (video) in the face of ecological crisis.

What artist or work of art do you find yourself returning to and why?

I'm obsessed with Claude Cahun right now. How coded and nuance their (his?) anti-Nazi propaganda is.

Your peers ask: what makes you like someone instantly?

I hate everyone.
