School of the Arts Student Relief Fund III

December 04, 2020

In response to the urgent financial challenges faced by many students as a result of COVID-19, a number of School of the Arts supporters joined together last spring to establish the Student ReliefFund. The goal of the fund is to help with urgent financial needs such as housing, living, healthcare,COVID-19-related travel, and childcare expenses.

The Office of the Dean is now accepting applications for a third round of grants from the StudentRelief Fund. All currently enrolled students, regardless of whether they received relief funds before are eligible to apply. Applicants should only ask for what they need and because funds are limited, it is suggested that requests do not exceed $3,000. Please note that we will give as much as we are able to, but you may not receive the full amount of your request.

The Artists’ Resource Center has compiled a Support for Urgent Needs page which lists additional resources for material support. Students should consult these resources in addition to applying to the Student Relief Fund for emergency assistance.

Many thanks to the donors who made these new funds possible.
