Hello MFA Students,
Fundamentals of Directing is a "hybrid" class, meaning that there will be some sessions taught live in the KOB screening room and others that are available online only. While all students can access all sessions online, those who are in NYC and wish to attend the hybrid sessions "on campus" should choose that mode for the class in SSOL. This may be a requirement for some international students whose visas require that they have at least one hybrid class.
Once you have indicated your preference, I will work with the instructors and the course assistant to communicate with students about attending the hybrid sessions, which begin with the first class on Sept 8th. If you wish to attend that class in-person, please choose "on-campus" as your mode of access to the class, and a Film staff member or the course assistant will be in touch to notify the 18 students who can attend the first session. Due to reduced occupancy regulations related to the pandemic, we can only have 18 students in the room for each hybrid session, so this needs to be coordinated if there are more than 18 students seeking this mode.
