Hello MFA Instructors and Students,
We are receiving many questions about the Academic Calendar, given the course term dates displaying in the Directory of Classes and SSOL and the reading/exam dates (in green) on the university academic calendar (attached). Since the MFA Program does not have exam dates, we plan to use those weeks as instructional weeks. Confirming that these are the instructional dates for the term:
Spring A: Mon Jan 11 - Fri, Feb 26, 2021
(Monday Jan 18 is a University holiday for Martin Luther King Day)
Spring Break: March 1-5, 2021
(No classes can be scheduled during spring break)
Spring B: Mon March 8 - Fri, April 23, 2021
(the following week of April 26 is Commencement, so scheduling of makeup classes may be affected)
Film & Media Studies courses will follow the university calendar, so please consult with your instructor if there are any questions about course/exam dates.
