Hello 1st Year MFA Students,
I am contacting you to let you know that due to changes in instructor availability and class schedules, we have had to re-do the Directing 2 workshop assignments. This was necessary to ensure that the following priorities were observed for all students in the 1st year. These workshops begin meeting after spring break, the week of March 8th.
1) fulfilling stated class time preferences (1st or 2nd choice)
2) changing each student's instructor from Directing 1
3) balancing class sizes to maintain no more than 12 students per section
Film staff will process the changes and you will be able to see your new Directing 2 assignment on Friday in SSOL. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and made every effort to avoid conflicts with required classes and excessive Zoom time for students. Students with registration issues caused by their re-assignment should contact Sara Mason.
