The Seventh Annual Alumni Poetry Reading Series kicks off with Marina Blitshteyn '12, Meghan Maguire Dahn '14, Nicholas Goodly '17 and Sam Ross '13.

Organized by Timothy Donnelly, Writing.

Born in the Soviet Union, Marina Blitshteyn and her family came to the US as refugees in 1991. She is the author of two poetry collections, Two Hunters (Argos Books, 2019), and i take your voice (Switchback Books, 2022), chosen by Joy Priest as the winner of The Gatewood Prize.

Meghan Maguire Dahn is the author of Domain (Burnside Press Review, 2022), selected by Jennifer Chang for the Burnside Review Press Award and the chapbook Lucid Animal, winner of the 2021 Harbor Review Editor’s Prize. She teaches at Fordham University and lives in New York with her family.

Nicholas Goodly is the author of Black Swim (Copper Canyon, 2022). They are a team member of the performing arts platform Fly on a Wall, assistant poetry editor at The Southeast Review, and a Cave Canem fellow.

Sam Ross’s debut collection, Company, was selected by Carl Phillips for the Four Way Books Levis Prize in Poetry and received the 2020 Thom Gunn Award for Gay Poetry. He was an inaugural 2022 LGBTQ+ Artist in Residence at the Provincetown Fine Arts Center.
