When young father Marshall's sister Kasey drops back into his life after years away, he warily agrees to meet her at the rental property in Wisconsin once owned by their late grandfather. And over a weekend of drinking, dancing, nostalgia, and singing novelty fish, it seems this may just be a legitimate attempt at reunion- and there could be hope they can finally get back to what they had. But Kasey will always ask too much of Marshall, and as the ground beneath their reunion begins to crumble, the fate of their family hangs in the balance.

About the Playwright

Jack T. Calk is a playwright, screenwriter, and lyricist from north of Chicago. His work includes Olivia (St. Lou Fringe, First Run Theatre); Blood by Law (2018 O’Neill New Play Conference semi-finalist/2018 ATHE Judith Royer Award for Excellence in Playwriting finalist); two seasons of fiction podcast Tabula Rasa (Pendant Productions, four-time Audio Verse Award winner); Some Bastard with a Guitar (Without Bounds Creative Group); and Not All That Far (2018 Columbia@Roundabout series finalist, Schapiro Theater/Columbia University). He has served as assistant to Samuel D. Hunter (Lewiston/Clarkston at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater) and Halley Feiffer (The Pain of My Belligerence at Playwrights Horizons and Powerhouse Theater/NYSAF).

His voice acting credits include: Archive 81 (Static Man/other voices), Archer & Armstrong: The Michelangelo Code (Ivar the Timewalker) and Active Radioactive Radio (Johnny Franks). His sound engineering credits include: Terezin (Peter Jay Sharp Theatre); Field, Awakening (Corkscrew Theater Festival and Columbia University at the Ford Signature Studio), Macbeth (Columbia University at the Connelly Theatre). He has worked in Advancement at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and in the Artistic and Producing departments at Shakespeare Festival St. Louis.
