Andrew Wells '24 is the author of two chapbooks, Sealed (Hesterglock, 2020) and Menacing Sense (Osmanthus, 2021). His work has appeared in The London Magazine, Poetry Wales, Sand Journal, The Scores, Pamenar Magazine, and others.
Gail Greiner '01 teaches creative writing and English literature at an independent high school in Westport, Connecticut. She’s working on a collection of linked stories titled What Was She Thinking? Two of the stories have appeared in Glimmer Train and The Hamilton Stone Review. She lives in Nyack, New York, where she takes walks along the Hudson with her dog, Carlo.
Xi Chen '23 is an Internal Medicine doctor at NYU Langone. His essays have appeared in The Guardian, Ploughshares, The Rumpus, and Scientific American. He is currently revising his debut book, Dot Dot Dot, a novel about a Chinese-American man who renounces the world after the death of his best friend.
What is Columbia Selects? Columbia Selects is an alumni reading series hosted by the Columbia MFA Writing Program. In recent years, many of our featured writers have achieved critical and commercial success. This is your chance to glimpse who you'll be reading in 2027!
