by William Shakespeare
Directed by Katherine Wilkinson
Columbia University School of the Arts presents the 3rd year Acting cohort in William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, directed by Katherine Wilkinson.
Julius Caesar reimagines the rise and fall of Rome's most iconic leader through the raw, visceral lens of MMA. At the height of Roman expansion, Caesar—a brilliant, cunning, and unrelenting force—stands as the pinnacle of power. Loved by the people but feared by the senators, her meteoric ascent sparks a brutal struggle: should she be celebrated for restoring order to the republic, or stopped before her power grows too great to contain? In this high-stakes arena, alliances crumble, loyalty is tested, and every move has a cost.
