Sofia Rodrigues Bolina is a nonfiction writer born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. Her writing explores themes of colonialism and its legacies, and the intersection of current politics and national cultures. She holds a BA in Cultural Theory and History from the Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, and has recently earned an MFA in Nonfiction Writing at the School of the Arts, where she has taught in the Columbia Artist / Teachers program.
