Neil Goldberg

Neil Goldberg is a visual artist and arts educator who works in video, photography, mixed media, and performance, exploring themes of embodiment, perception, mortality, and the everyday. His work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of the City of New York, and the New Museum of Contemporary Art. He has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the New York State Council on the Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts, Yaddo, MacDowell, and the Siena Art Institute, among others. In addition to Columbia, he has taught at the Yale School of Art since 2013, was resident faculty at Skowhegan (where he now serves on the Board of Governors), and participated as a mentor with Queer|Art.
