Kali Kahn

Kali Kahn is a writer-director from Miami and a graduate of Columbia’s MFA Film program, where she focused on screenwriting under the mentorship of Katherine Dieckmann and Christina Lazaridi. She is currently developing her thesis screenplay, September, All Over—a coming-of-age drama set during Hurricane Irma—as her debut feature. Her short films have screened at festivals worldwide, and as a professional editor, she has cut films that premiered at Berlinale, Tribeca, and Slamdance. Her thesis short film, a proof of concept for the feature, is now on the festival circuit with support from Indian Paintbrush Productions, The Davey Foundation, and Film Florida.
