Geoff Dyer

Geoff Dyer’s many books include the novel Jeff in Venice, Death in Varanasi; But Beautiful (about jazz); Out of Sheer Rage (about D. H. Lawrence); Yoga For People Who Can’t Be Bothered To Do It; The Last Days of Roger Federer and, most recently, Homework, a memoir. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, an Honorary Fellow of Corpus Christi College, Oxford, and a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences. His books have won numerous prizes and have been translated into twenty-six languages. After ten years as Writer in Residence at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles he has recently returned to live in London.
