Belle

Suzu is a shy, everyday teenager living in a rural village. Since losing her mother, she has only been a shadow of herself, but when she enters “U”, a huge virtual world, she escapes into her online persona Belle, a glamorous and globally-beloved singer. When all of U’s eyes are fixed on Belle, her concert is interrupted by a monstrous creature pursued by vigilantes. Suzu embarks on an emotional and epic quest to uncover the identity of this mysterious “beast” and to discover her true self in a world where you can be anyone. Academy Award® nominated-director Mamoru Hosoda and Studio Chizu (Mirai, Wolf Children, and Summer Wars) bring us a fantastical, emotionally powerful story about growing up in the age of social media.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Bored with the same old tricks and treats, Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloweentown, yearns for something more and soon stumbles upon Christmas Town, ablaze in bright colors and warm spirits.  He plots to bring Christmas under his control by kidnapping Santa Claus and taking over the role.  A lonely ragdoll, Sally, who loves Jack, tries to foil his misguided plans. When the world responds with horror to Jack’s earnest efforts and cries for the real Santa Claus, Jack realizes his mistake.
