Acting Thesis: The Seagull

  • Flexible Performance Space (map)
russian buildings

Directed by Andrei Serban

By Anton Chekhov
Translated by Paul Schmidt

On the shores of a lake, the premiere of a new play sparks arguments about writing, politics, and love. In this reimagining of Chekhov’s classic, gender-bent casting explodes his traditional love triangles to reinvigorate the first of his major plays.
