‘The Seventh Day,’ Written And Directed By Alumnus Justin P. Lange '14, in Pre-Production

The Seventh Day, a horror film written and directed by alumnus Justin P. Lange '14 is in pre-production after being acquired by Fangoria and Cinestate. It marks Lange’s second feature film after The Dark (2018) and will star Guy Pearce. 

In The Seventh Day, a renowned exorcist teams up with a rookie priest for his first day of training. As they plunge deeper into hell on earth, the lines between good and evil blur, and their own demons emerge.

Justin P. Lange is a screenwriter and director with an MFA in directing. The Dark, Lange’s critically-acclaimed and award-winning feature film debut as writer/director, had its world premiere at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and went on to screen at film festivals around the world before being released in the US and the UK in Fall 2018. It was subsequently nominated for Best Actress, Best Makeup SFX and Best First Feature in Fangoria’s 2018 edition of the Chainsaw Awards, and has since been released in territories across the globe.
