Immediate Female Exhibition Features Three Alumnae

Three Columbia alumnae currently have their work on display at the Judith Charles Gallery as part of a new exhibition titled Immediate Female.
Caitlin Cherry ('12), Irini Miga ('12) and Mira Hunter ('13) were all selected for the interdisciplinary group exhibition featuring more than 20 artists based in New York City. The work on display involves sculpture, painting, performance and lasers and explores the contemporary art scene as well as categorisation of artists and art forms.
Following the opening of the exhibition, Irini Miga was listed in the Huffington Post article, "10 Badass Emerging Female Artists You Should Know", for her sculptural work.
Immediate Female will be on display until March 8th at the Judith Charles Gallery. In conjunction with the exhibition, the gallery will host a panel discussion, moderated by Alexis Lowry Murray, Curator of the David Winton Bell Gallery at Brown University,on February 18th, at 7 pm.
